This notice explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or submit details through our advertising campaigns, including Meta (Facebook) Lead Ads.

The data we collect

  • Property details such as postcode and indicative timeline to sell or let.

  • Business contact data for estate agents and suppliers (name, role, work email, phone, company).

  • Communications you send to us and notes we create to service your enquiry.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide our services.

  • Run local lead‑generation campaigns and forward enquiries to the specific estate agency named in the form or campaign.

  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and campaigns.

  • Comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

Our legal bases

We rely on one or more of the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests to promote and deliver our services, to respond to your requests, and to support local estate agents with seller and landlord enquiries.

  • Consent when you actively submit a form and tick a consent box for contact. You can withdraw consent at any time using the contact details below.

  • Contract where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you or our clients.

  • Legal obligation when we must process data to comply with the law.

Sharing your data

We share data only as needed to run our services:

  • Partner estate agents: We share your enquiry with the named estate agent partner so they can contact you about your property. They act as independent controllers for their own follow‑up.

  • Service providers: Hosting, CRM and analytics providers (for example, HubSpot, web hosting, email), under appropriate contracts and safeguards.

  • Regulators or law enforcement when required by law.

We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or confirm an adequacy decision applies.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed:

  • Consumer leads from advertising campaigns: up to 90 days after the campaign or pilot ends, for reporting and audit, then deleted or anonymised unless law requires longer or you ask us to delete earlier.

  • B2B prospect data (estate agents): up to 24 months from last meaningful interaction, then reviewed for deletion.

  • Contracts and invoices: up to 6 years to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You have rights under UK data protection law to:

  • access your data;

  • correct inaccurate data;

  • delete your data;

  • restrict or object to processing;

  • data portability where applicable.

  • Meta may process your information as a separate controller under its own privacy policy. Please refer to Meta’s privacy information in the Lead Ad form.

  • The consent text shown on the form applies in addition to this notice. You can withdraw consent at any time using our contact details above.

Children

Our services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date.
